The Ship Restaurant

When on a date with hubby last night as my kids are staying over at my mil house. (I miss the kids super much)

Hubby says since they are not atound so we should just relax and take a break. We went to Nex at Serangoon for our dinner and decided to settle on The Ship Restaurant. Overall food was ok but i still prefer steak from Jack's place.

The Ship Steak.
They say chef recommend and soooo i try it.

Not so bad though but if it is really chef recommend then probably the chef also only not so bad.

Environment 4/5
Food 4/5
Service 3/5
Price 3/5

The reason price only 3 is that it's abit too expensive. I don't think the taste and food worth that much. We spent abt $94 for just the 2 of us. (We even ordered set which means it should be cheaper)

Madame Tussaude and Trick eye museum

Ever been to Trick Eye and Madam Tussaude?? Today is the first time i went there. Manage to get promotion price at Qoo10. 2 tickets for just $39.00 only. I will share a few pictures I've taken.
I want to be a nice Angel

I use to care so much on how people      will think of me. But today, i just wanna be myself and do what i love.

My idol. Always in love with him.

I would prefer trick eye to the wax museum. Something more interesting. The wax museum wasted about 20mins of our time going through the Singapore History (totally no link). But 1 thing for sure... The people working in the Singapore History are very funny and professional entertainer. Go try it out! You will love Trick Eye!

What to do when your child suffer from eczema

Those who have children, do your child suffer from serious eczema or mild eczema. What will you normally do? Both my gotls suffer from serious eczema when they are a few months old and they were very very bad. I brought them to doctors, change their body wash to those mild ones still show no improvement. Then one day i met up with my aunt and she told me to clean my girl with Salin water after shower and apply the cream that doctor provided. Immediately i when to Guardian or you can go to Watson to buy the salin water. After show i pour it in a small cup and clean their face with cotton wool then apply a thing layer of the cream the doctor prescribed. It's a 0.1% cream and different doctors will provide different brand but the outcome are all the same. Only thin layer to be applied on the infected area only. It's not very good for the skin (as told by my doctor).

                       Saline water
Can be bought from neighbourhood            Guarian or Watson

Cream prescribed by my doctor
*any brand will do

After a few days u can see big improvement on their skin.

Those mummies and daddies who are facing problems with kids that are suffering from eczema give this a try. It's harmless afterall the cream is given by doctors. To ensure all of you this is what saline water is use for.

Small handbag from Groupon

Do you often do online shopping? I does that all the time and i will eventually overspend cause i do not know how much i have purchase and i just keep on buying and buying... I often go to sites like Groupon, Qoo10, Wish and even Taobao to do all my purchase. I only like going for cheap stuffs cause I don't see a point in paying so much for something unless they are really beautiful or they are worth the price. I am particularly a bag and shoe person. I don't mind buying expensive bags. I buy my bags mostly from Carlo Rino. I don't know why but i love Carlo Rino. Somehow i fell in love with this little bag i saw in Groupon. Maybe it's because I don't own a chain strap bag before. And it's freaking cheap.

I bought this at $11.90 from Groupon

The bag looks like this on the inside.

                So gonna use it today.

The material for this bag is good. It arrives in a week time and condition is good but 1 thing I dislike is that the strap is non adjustable and it's kind of short to cross sling. The size is just nice for me to put in my wallet, handphone and tissue paper (I don't bring alot of things when I'm alone). If you are interested you can just log into to Groupon to purchase this bag. Self collection and deliveries are available!

Mt. Sapola Barn and Potter home Lemongrass home scent vs GUARDIAN Lemongrass and citrus Reed diffuser

Apparently those bunches of lemon grasses that i mention in my first post doesn't work. The smell was way too mild only you can only smell it when you place it on your nose. I told mummy about it and she went to Mt Sapola to get the barn and potter lemongrass home scent instead. It is a kind of diffuser that gives your room a very refreshing smell at the same time they prevent mozzie (told by the salesperson). AND!!.... it's made with pure essential oil. Well, that explains the price of it. Mummy bought it for $69.90. They provide us with 8 bamboo sticks. If you like a stronger smell you can put all 8 in but for me i think i prefer having only like 3 or 4 bamboo sticks. I have a little bit of breathing problem and i do not want to feel suffocated. On the other hand if you prefer something cheaper you can go to your neighbour hood GUARDIAN. They too have this  Lemongrass and citrus Reed diffuser. They smell the same but cost only $15.90 (promotion price, U.P $19.90). I dunno what is the difference between the both diffuser so i decided to buy and try it out. I will update on the difference and see if it works.

Mt. Sapola
They have 14 outlets in Singapore

Lemongrass home scent @ $69.90

Closer look of the bottle.

They too sell alot of aromatic products to create your own spa like feel at home.

GUARDIAN Lemongrass and citrus Reed diffuser @ $15.90
U.P @ $19.90
(Sorry i forgot to take a picture of it so i got this from google)

After opening it should be like that
(i made a big mistake by throwing all the bamboo stick in)

Hopefully the both of them works and my home will be free from mozzie!!

Spelos hamster cage from Pet Lovers Centre

Hi! I'm back with a new post.

Have you guys ever thought of keeping a hamster or 2 as a pet? Well, i nv thought i will but now have 2 little hammie name Ah pui (fatty) and san por (skinny). I know... Their name sounds a little funny but i think it suits them real well. Hahaha.

Anyway, my brother gave me 2 male hammie and a real big container DIY and became a hamster cage. It's way too big to place it in my home (as u know la new house is bloody small). So my hubby and i decided that we should get a proper cage and of cos smaller ones. So we headed down to the Pet Lovers Centre at  Hougang mall. It's located at the basement. After long consideration and hesitation we decided to get SPELOS. A blue decent small cage for the hammies. Usual price was 70 over dollars but i think there's promotion or what i paid $58.80 for it.

SPELOS cage @ $58.80

This are the items included inside.
Wheels, water bottle, feeding bowl, tubes.

The overall outlook after fixing up.
The cow and the beige feeding bowl is my add on. NOT included.
This is my Ah pui. The first one to eat whenever there's food.

It looks good right??
BUT!!! THE WHEEL IS BLOODY SQUEAKY!!
Every night disturbing me from my beauty sleep. Dont know is it my San por run too fast or the wheel itself got problem that why got discount. Anyway i'm quite pissed off by the sound.Other than the squeaky sound everything is okay. i would rate it 8.5/10. You can view their website and take a look at all the ranges of cages they have and give the nearest outlet a call to see if they have that item instock. Otherwise you can get them to order it for you. Self collection or deliveries available, but please note deliveries is free only if you spend $80 and above. Anything below $80 there is a $10 delivery charge applicable. They also provide grooming services to your pet.

My very first post

Hello peeps! This is my new blog and i will try all my best to update as often as possible. I will blog mainly on products, food, people and drinks. and maybe.... people?

I know i am not a professional bloggers being sponsored to share about views of items but i hope that i can be of help to provide informations to you.

I just shifted into my new house not very long ago. everything is fine except for one thing. MOSQUITOS!! I am so irritated by all this mosquitos bites that i search all ways to stop the mosquitos.

Right arm of my youngest daughter
Left wrist of my youngest daughter
Left wrist of my youngest daughter
My youngest daughter cheek on the right side
                                                                     Her eye area
Her right tigh

It's bad right?? My heart aches to see all this. I  started getting insect repellent to protect them first.

Insect repellent from a mini supermarket @ $8.80

My mum then tell me a way. Lemongrass! She say that mosquitos are afraid of the smell of lemongrass. So i went to buy lost of lemongrasses.

 Lemongrass
I don't know what this is called but you will need this to smash the head of the lemongrass
Smash the lemongrass till it look like this so that it smell stronger
 Bundle them together like that
Closer look

Tie them to the window or the headboard of your bed to prevent the mosquitos to visit you at night. Whether it works anot is another thing. I will update again. For now i really hope that i will work well.
